You might be wondering why we care so much about Production Tasks. Well, it's because they help us keep track of all the work we're receiving, completing, and still waiting to be done. By breaking our work down into these tasks, we can better understand how much we're getting done and where we might need to focus more attention.

Production Tasks are completed by our individual contributors, have a defined start and end point, and are done following a specific process. Plus, the effort required to complete the task is something that we can observe. And the best part is that most Production Task volumes can be collected automatically through our workflow systems.

In Bramble, we also assign an Ideal Task Time (ITT) to each Production Task. This allows us to convert volumes into time and gives us a clear productivity target for every task. This way, our managers and individual contributors can get a better idea of how they're doing and where they might need to improve. Overall, Production Tasks are a big help in keeping our work organized and on track!
