FTE stands for "full-time equivalent."

It is a measure used in business and human resources to describe the total number of hours worked by one employee on a full-time basis.

FTE can be used to calculate the number of employees needed to complete a certain amount of work, as well as to compare the productivity and efficiency of different departments or teams.

For example, if the company I work for has a base-time per week of 40 hours, and I work Part-Time 3 days a week for a total of 24 hours, my time at work is equivalent to 0.6 FTE (24/40).
